The 321H35 is a 2/2-way normally closed (N.C.) pilot-operated solenoid valve from the Parker/Lucifer H Series. This model is primarily designed for high-pressure air, gas control, and industrial process applications, with typical applications including plastic bottle blow molding, air compressors, and laser cutting equipment.

High-Pressure Design

The key characteristic of 321H35 is its pilot-operated diaphragm structure combined with a reinforced diaphragm and stainless-steel operator. Parker's H Series is designed for demanding industrial applications involving relatively high operating pressures.

Because it is pilot operated, the valve requires a minimum pressure differential for normal operation. One published specification gives a minimum operating pressure of 1.5 bar. This should be considered when the valve is installed in a circuit with variable or low upstream pressure.

321H35 in Plastic Bottle Blowing

A documented Parker application uses the 321H35 as the normally closed high-pressure valve in a plastic bottle-blowing system.

In the described sequence, the circuit initially operates at 2–15 bar. The 321H35 is then energized to allow the pressure to increase to 40 bar while preventing the high-pressure side from returning to the lower-pressure circuit.
