A timer drain discharges condensate from compressed air systems. The timer can be adjusted to discharge the condensate according to the specific needs of the compressed air system. The COMBO timer controlled condensate drain combines an adjustable electronic timer controlled drain, a ball valve and a mesh strainer into one compact easy to install package. Suitable for any flow range and pressure up to 230 PSI, the COMBO is perfect for virtually any compressed air application, especially those with solid particulate contaminants.
The OPTIMUM is easy to install, simple to adjust and rated for pressures up to 230 PSI. It includes a test switch, LED on/off indication and a serviceable valve. Most importantly, the large 4.5 mm orifice means it is perfect for difficult applications with high condensate flow rates and solid particulate contaminants.

1. How does air compressor auto drain work?
Some compressed air auto drains work on the float principal. As water and contamination accumulates in the bottom of the bowl, it will ultimately lift a float. The compressed air, under pressure in the bowl, will then vent to atmosphere through the drain opening, blowing the water and debris from the bowl as it does.
2. How often should I drain my air compressor tank?
There is no need to drain your tank at every single use, however, we recommend that your tank be drained once every couple of days if it's used daily. If you drain it once a week, you should be doing everything that is needed to prevent major rust.
