SMC Type VX2360-03 3/8 Inch 2 Way NC Brass Solenoid Valve for Water Air Gas

VX2360-03 is an SMC VX23 series 2-port direct-acting solenoid valve. It is a normally closed (N.C.) valve with a 3/8" port and 10 mm orifice, designed for controlling fluids such as air, water, oil, and steam (depending on seal and configuration).

Working Principle

The VX2360-03 uses a direct-acting poppet structure.

Coil de-energized: the valve remains closed.
Coil energized: the solenoid directly lifts the valve poppet and opens the flow path.
Power removed: the spring returns the poppet to the closed position.

Because the valve is direct acting, it does not depend on upstream pressure to operate. This makes it suitable for applications requiring operation at low pressure differential
