0955705 is a 2/2-way normally open (N.O.) pilot-operated diaphragm solenoid valve in the 0955 series. It is the G1-1/2" / 40 mm orifice version, designed for relatively high-flow control of air, water, gas, light oil, and other compatible media.

Working Principle

The 0955705 is normally open:

Coil de-energized: the main passage remains open.
Coil energized: the pilot mechanism changes the diaphragm pressure balance and closes the main flow passage.
Power failure: the valve returns to its normally open state.

As a pilot-operated diaphragm valve, it relies on differential pressure for normal operation, so pressure conditions should be checked before selecting it for low-pressure applications.
