DMF-Y-102S is a 4-inch (DN102) full-immersion / embedded electromagnetic pulse jet valve designed for reverse-pulse cleaning of large industrial dust collectors and baghouse systems. It is the largest model in the standard DMF-Y series, with a G4" connection, two diaphragms, and a Ø255 mm diaphragm.

How DMF-Y-102S Works

The DMF-Y-102S is mounted directly onto the compressed-air manifold or air tank. This full-immersion structure allows compressed air to enter the valve directly from the reservoir.

The operating sequence is:

1, The pulse controller energizes the solenoid coil.
2, The pilot mechanism releases air from the diaphragm chamber.
3, The pressure differential opens the two diaphragms.
4, Compressed air is discharged into the blow tube.
5, When the electrical signal ends, the diaphragm chamber repressurizes.
6, The diaphragms close and the cleaning pulse stops.

Because the valve is mounted directly on the air header, the air-tank inlet size and available air volume are important for maintaining the required pulse pressure.
