Submerged Pulse Solenoid Valve DMF-Y-62S Dust Collector 2-1/2'' Valve

DMF-Y-62S is a 2-1/2-inch (DN62) full-immersion / embedded electromagnetic pulse jet valve used for reverse-pulse cleaning in industrial dust collector and baghouse systems. It is mounted directly to the compressed-air header and uses a two-diaphragm configuration.

How DMF-Y-62S Works

The DMF-Y-62S uses an integral electromagnetic pilot to control the two diaphragms.

The operating sequence is:

1, The pulse controller energizes the solenoid coil.
2, The pilot exhausts air from the rear diaphragm chamber.
3, The pressure differential causes the diaphragms to open rapidly.
4, Compressed air is released from the header into the blow tube.
5, When the electrical signal ends, the pilot resets and the diaphragm chamber repressurizes.
The diaphragms close and the cleaning pulse stops.

Because the valve is mounted directly on the air header, the header/manifold arrangement is an important part of the installation design.
