Solid State cyclic, single shot and delay timers are used for simple automated ON/OFF control for solenoid valves, typically they fit directly between the solenoid valve coil and electrical DIN connector and come with a range either adjustable Time ON (Solenoid Valve Energised) and Time OFF (Solenoid Valve De Energised) or fixed timing cycles or schedules according to specific customer needs.
Typical Cyclic timers will provide LED Power ON and LED Power OFF indication, Manual Test button and most quality solid state cyclic timers will individually handle a voltage range from 24 volts to 250 volts with a current through put to the solenoid valve of up to 10 Amps.
Attention also needs to be focused on the Solenoid Valve coil / DIN Connector type and orientation. Obviously as these solid state cyclic timers fit between the coil and electrical connector they need to be the same DIN 43650 standard.
Repeat cycle timers, single shot timers and delay shot timers are supplied with either ISO 43650A form A and ISO 43650B form B fitment that typically fit directly between the solenoid valve coil and electrical Din connector without the need for additional time consuming wiring or cost of fitting.
