The Gas cut-off solenoid coil is an important electronic control component in the LPG system that controls the operation of the entire system. Dual fuel car LPG system composition and working principle
1. The main composition and working principle of the dual fuel car LPG system
The system consists of a gas storage tank, an evaporation regulator, a gasoline solenoid valve, an LPG solenoid valve, a power regulating valve, a venturi mixer, a fuel transfer switch, and a control circuit.
When the fuel transfer switch is turned to the LPG position, the gasoline solenoid valve is de-energized (cutting off the gasoline supply) and the LPG solenoid valve is energized. The LPG liquid comes out of the gas storage tank, passes through the LPG solenoid valve to the evaporation regulator, and is depressurized and vaporized to become a gas close to atmospheric pressure. The LPG gas flows through the power regulating valve to the venturi mixer, is thoroughly mixed with the air in the venturi mixer, and supplies a certain amount of LPG gas to the carburetor throat (acting only as a channel) according to the operating conditions of the engine.
2. Gas storage tank
The gas storage tank is installed in the luggage compartment at the rear of the vehicle. Its function is to store the LPG. The integrated valve is installed on it to ensure the safe use of the gas storage tank and the whole system.
The functions of the various parts of the integrated valve are as follows:
Filling the check valve: When the LPG is charged, the pressure of the LPG opens the check valve against the spring force, and when the charging is stopped, the check valve is automatically closed under the action of the return spring to prevent the LPG from flowing back;
Limit charge valve: When LPG is added, the limit charge float gradually rises with the increase of LPG liquid level. When the LPG in the gas tank reaches the set liquid level (about 75%-80%), the limit charge valve is closed, and the limit is limited. LPG continues to be filled, providing the LPG expansion space necessary for temperature rise;
Liquid level sensor: a fuel gauge for sensing the liquid level in the gas tank and transmitting the liquid level signal to the cab;
Safety release valve: When the pressure in the air tank exceeds the set safety limit pressure, the safety valve automatically opens and releases LPG. When the pressure drops to the set lower limit pressure, it automatically closes to prevent a safety accident due to excessive pressure.
Super flow stop valve: installed at the outlet port. When the LPG pipe ruptures and a large amount of leakage occurs (flow rate exceeds 215ml/s), the gas supply channel is closed, and only the middle hole of the valve core has 3.3ml gas pipe liquid.
3. Gasoline LPG solenoid valve is connected to a gasoline solenoid valve in the original gasoline pipeline, and an LPG solenoid valve is arranged in the LPG pipeline. Their function is to switch on (cut off) gasoline or LPG during fuel conversion.
