The 3/4'' CPVC Anti-Corrosive Solenoid Valve is a 2/2-way normally closed, piston pilot-operated solenoid valve designed for controlling chemical, acid, alkali, and corrosive liquids.

CPVC Construction

The valve body is made from CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) rather than conventional metal. The manufacturer describes CPVC as having improved resistance to acid, alkali, salt and oxidizing conditions compared with conventional PVC, making it suitable for selected chemical-fluid applications.

The wetted-body material should still be checked against the specific chemical concentration, temperature and operating pressure. “CPVC” should not be treated as universally compatible with every corrosive medium.
