The 1/4'' Acid Alkali Corrosive PTFE Solenoid Valve is a 2/2-way normally closed isolation solenoid valve designed for controlling corrosive liquids and gases such as acids and alkalis. For the Brando configuration, the 1/4" version is available in both 3 mm and 6 mm orifice configurations, so the exact model should be selected according to the required flow and pressure.

PTFE Isolation Structure

The main design characteristic is the PTFE isolation construction.

The fluid-contacting parts are separated from the electromagnetic actuation mechanism, helping limit direct exposure of metal actuator components to the corrosive medium. This makes the valve particularly relevant to chemical dosing, analytical instruments and aggressive-fluid control.

PTFE is selected because of its broad chemical resistance, but PTFE should not be interpreted as universally compatible with every chemical under every condition. Concentration, temperature, pressure and exposure time should be checked for the actual medium.
