The working principle of the refrigerating machine is steam compression refrigeration, that is, using the principle of heat absorption when liquid refrigerant evaporates and heat release when steam condenses. In refrigeration, evaporation is the process by which a liquid refrigerant boils into a gaseous state. When you go from a liquid to a gas, you have to absorb heat from the outside. So this is an endothermic process. The temperature at which the liquid refrigerant evaporates is called the evaporation temperature. Condensation is the process of turning steam into liquid by cooling it to a temperature equal to or below saturation.
