EVRA 25 Danfoss Type Servo Operated Ammonia Solenoid Valve Cast Iron Body Steel Flange
The EVRA 25, 32 and 40 danfoss type ammonia solenoid valves all are servo-operated piston valves. The valve closes through a current - free coil. The servo-piston with the main disc rests on the seat through the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet sides of the valve, the force of the compression spring, and the possible weight of the piston. The pilot hole opens when the coil current is turned on. This relieves pressure on the valve piston spring side. The differential pressure will then open the valve. The minimum differential pressure required to fully open the valve is 0.2 bar. EVRA is a direct or servo-operated solenoid valve used in liquid, aspirating and hot gas pipelines containing ammonia or fluorinated refrigerants. EVRA valves are available complete or as separate parts, i.e. body, coils and flanges can be ordered separately.

Principle of EVRA 25 solenoid valve in ammonia refrigeration system:
EVRA 25 danfoss type ammonia refrigeration solenoid valve is mainly used in ammonia refrigeration equipment, it is a valve that automatically turns on and off the refrigeration system pipeline. The refrigeration solenoid valve is usually installed between the expansion valve and the condenser. The position should be as close as possible to the expansion valve. Because the expansion valve is only a throttling element, it cannot be closed by itself. Therefore, the cooling solenoid valve should be used to cut off the supply line. The cooling solenoid valve and the compressor are started at the same time. When the compressor is stopped, the cooling solenoid valve is immediately closed, and the liquid supply is stopped, so that a large amount of refrigerant flows into the evaporator after the shutdown, and a liquid hammer failure occurs in the compressor when the compressor is restarted.
Solenoid valve installation precautions:
1. Read the product manual carefully before installation, check whether the product fully meets the requirements for use, familiar with the installation points, and prepare for the work.
2. Check whether the parameters marked on the nameplate are the parameters of the selected product and whether they are consistent with the instruction manual.
3. Fully flush the pipe with a pressure of 0.3Mpa before taking over, and completely remove the metal powder, residual sealing material, rust and the like in the pipe.
4. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If impurities such as dirt and dirt in the medium interfere with the normal operation of the solenoid valve, the filter should be installed in the pipeline.
5. The solenoid valve should not be installed in the low recess of the pipe, such as in the discharge pipe of the container. Note that it should not be taken out from the bottom of the container, but should be placed at a slightly upper position on the bottom of the container.
